The successful candidate will provide essential support to solicitors and legal professionals through legal research, case preparation, document drafting, and client communication. Swahili language skills will be advantageous when assisting our diverse client base, including East African and Swahili-speaking clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist solicitors with case preparation and file management
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
- Draft correspondence and maintain accurate case records
- Liaise professionally with clients, courts, and external parties
- Manage confidential information with discretion
- Support administrative and compliance-related activities
- Ensure deadlines and client requirements are met efficiently
Requirements
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification or relevant legal training and experience
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong legal research and document drafting skills
- Professional approach to client care and case management
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and legal case management systems
Desirable
- Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment
- Swahili language skills
