Mahnie has worked in family law for over 18 years. She studied law through the CILEX Professional Qualification and began her career within the Family Courts, working on complex care proceedings alongside Circuit Judges.

Mahnie specialises primarily in Public Law Care Proceedings, representing parents involved in cases where a Local Authority seeks to remove a child from their care. She has extensive experience dealing with sensitive and complex matters involving allegations of neglect, non-accidental injury and abuse, providing clear advice and strong support throughout proceedings.

She also assists clients in Private Law matters, including Child Arrangements Orders and Non-Molestation Order applications.

Mahnie is known for her warm yet straightforward approach and is committed to guiding clients through what are often highly emotional and challenging situations whilst working to achieve the best possible outcome for them and their families.
